Guest guest
I love animals because they are the only truly innocent creatures left on this plant. They can not act out of anger or selfishness. They are ALL beautiful. I think Pythagoras is cool because (I'm sorry, what is this?) My favourite vegetarian restaraunt in my area is (there are none but I like Trini and Carmen's veggie nacho. (minus cheese)). Sometimes when I think of all the animals being exploited I feel upset and overwhelmed because I know I am not doing all I can to make a difference. I live in a small town and I feel very alone sometimes. The best thing about being veg*n is the great feeling I have inside knowing that I am no longer making selfish choices while choosing the food I eat. The trouble with being veg*n is it is very inconvenient. (why do people spell it with no " a " ?) A book that has really inspired me is a book by Ingrid Newkirk called " Free The Animals " . A person who has really inspired me is Karl Buechner. The singer for the hardcore band, Earth Crisis. Meat-eaters think that I will never make a difference My favourite vegan junk food is vegan brownies My favourite vegan dish is vegan nachos or burritos McDonalds sucks because they contribute to all that is wrong with this planet. I joined Planet-Vegan because it seemed like a cool list. My favourite famous vegetarian is Albert Einstein. Get your free e-mail at mybytes.com. Its my web. Oh, he rocked, check him out http://www.ivu.org/people/history/pythagoras.html He was the " father of vegetarianism in the West " and until the late 19th-century people who ate meatless diets were called " Pythagoreans. Where do you live? > The trouble with being veg*n is it is very inconvenient. (why do people spell it with no " a " ?) I write it that way because there may be people on the list who may have not have made a full transition to veganism just yet, and the last thing I want to do is alienate vegetarians. > Meat-eaters think that I will never make a difference Well by just being vegan you've already made a difference. I bet you're healthier, I bet you've saved a few trees, and you are directly saving animals. In fact, in 60 years you'll have saved more than 22 mammals, more than 608 birds, and about 900 lbs of fish and shellfish. http://users.erols.com/epastore/veg/kills.html And I bet you've inspired at least one other person to atleast _think_ about what they eat. Keep on doin what you're doin. > My favourite vegan junk food is vegan brownies Do you have a recipe? Could you send it to us? > I joined Planet-Vegan because it seemed like a cool list. The coolest! I'm so glad you joined. > My favourite famous vegetarian is Albert Einstein. I mean really, who to believe? The meat industry - or Einstein? http://www.ivu.org/people/history/einstein.html Matthew, I was just wondering, what is your favourite straight-edge site? -anji -- _____________ Free email services provided by http://www.goodkarmamail.com powered by OutBlaze
