Guest guest
It is only natural that as caring, feeling, thinking individuals we get extremely pissed at times at people who find it fun and entertaining to kill innocent living beings. Luckily, I have found a place where we can vent our anger... DEER AVENGER!!! Download the demo today! --------------- Bambi has had enough of looking down the barrel of your shotgun. Bucking the “Hunter” trend, now the deer is the hunter in Deer Avenger from Simon & Schuster Interactive. Taking place in one of three deer-friendly states - West Virginia, Connecticut and Minnesota, Deer Avenger takes players to the deep woods in search of the illusive big- bellied deer hunter. Using weapons just like the big boys - an M-16 (gives the hunters a taste of their own medicine), slingshot (ammo consists of hard and soft deer pellets) or bazooka (it’s time to stop kidding around) you lure hunters into the open to blow ‘em away. At long last, Bambi gets her revenge! After the venison-slaying antics of the you-either-love-it-or-you-hate-it game Deer Hunter, the animals have risen up from the subversive state and armed themselves. Deer Avenger takes the " animal rights " cause to a whole new level and even throws in a half decent game to keep the morally-vacant gaming public amused. Basically, this is Deer Hunter with the hunter becoming the hunted as you, as a revenge-crazed deer, grab an Uzi and start tracking down anything on two legs. Sounds like fun, well it is, in a weird Redneck Rampage kind of way. The graphics are quite basic but do the job of recreating the tense (or boring, depending on your point of view) sport of hunting quite well. Sound is great with various comedic speech samples (yes, this is a comedy unless there's a bunch of deer who have learned how to program computers somewhere in the forest) So if you thought Deer Hunter was boring, offensive or just plain ugly, give this a bash and it'll put a smile on your face. The novelty will probably wear off after a few days, but it shall be fondly remembered for quite a while yet. http://www.hotgames.com/games/deerav/review.htm --------------- A hilarious parody of the best-selling hunting game, this wild, farcical romp turns the tables and lets the deer get a little payback from Deer Avenger. In this refreshing take on the vastly popular hunting genre, you're the deer, and you're armed to the hilt with guns, deer pellets, and tons of comedy. From the trailer parks in West Virginia to the winter wonderland of Minnesota, you can stalk all your favorite human foes (from rednecks to yuppies). Lure hunters into the open with mating calls like, " Help, I'm naked and I have a pizza. " Written by a " Late Night with Conan O'Brien " staff writer, the game delivers tons of wacky fun in virtual environments so real, you can smell the stale beer. http://www.infoarea.com/wingames/deeravenger.htm ---------------- http://gamepower.com/games/html/7430movie.html?get_str=/idxs/reviewidx?showpage%\ 3D15%26showcount%3D10%26showtype%3Dreview%26showplat%3Dall%26showcat%3Dall%26sho\ wpre%3D%26showin%3D%26showsort%3D1 http://gamespot.com/sports/deeraven/index.html http://www.gamesdomain.co.uk/demos/demo/da_setup.html -- _____________ Free email services provided by http://www.goodkarmamail.com powered by OutBlaze
