Guest guest
Hi, I'm a member and I booked the week off work to go to WVC but then I read that it's like $145/day which is a lot for me to just pop over and check out a speaker. And plus, it doesn't say which day which speakers are speaking but you have to book ahead of time which days you want to go. So I don't know what I'm going to do. Any ideas? -anji > Hey, are any of you guys members of the TVA? Guest guest
I didn't even know about the price! I'm going to volunteer there with my boyfriend, they already contacted us and everything (we'll take care of the food part ), but someone told me that volunteers needed to register too (well, this person wasn't a TVA member so I'm not sure if he is right). Anyway, I took a look at the registration form and it's really weird. You're right, there is no schedule for speakers or anything else. Oh wel.. we still have 6 months ahead of us -Belle ____ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
any vegetarian assn. that charges 145 bucks so that we can hear people speak is a load of shit! All costs should be minimal and should sustain the organization as " non-profit " I am not sure if the organization is non-profit .. or if the 145 is the lowest possible cost in order to bring all of these speakers ... but if it is .. man, what a rip!
