Guest guest Posted March 15, 2000 Report Share Posted March 15, 2000 Well I hope I am on topic today, but in my life I try to live vegan- suport all cruelty free things etc...but re diets- I have a strong opinion against the whole dieting thing because I used to be way unhealthy that way and was afraid to eat. That is why I may of overreacted- sorry. I was obsessed with every ounch of fat and had to excercise for three hours a day or avoid eating. I was stuck in a sick cycle. Luckily that is over and Im nice and voluptuous because of all that dieting! Now I eat whenever and because its vegan & its healthy (generally..except the tofutti and rice chocolate squares Im addicted to)... But anyhew...I digress... I eat for health and for when Im hungry!- health of me, the planet, the animals (lives). Also for taste! As for Vegan drugs, you can't really trust anything man! There are (apparently) everything from fish scales to rooster crowns in everything from aspirin to Ecstasy. Nowadays the only way to be sure its vegan is if you make it yourself - or perhaps shop at places that label everything precisely. I use herbs whenever I can or stic to Natural Remedies or Teas for Ailments. But the best thing for me personally always is Sunday Brunch on Sundays with friends and getting bullshit of my chest.
