Anyway, I was asking about lactic acid because I found it listed as one of the ingredients of Tofutti's garden veggie cream cheese. (But I only got sick(er) from that after I was already sick. By coincidence, I just got TVA's Lifelines March/April issue this week and they have a list of food additives and their sources, and they say that lactic acid is made by bacterial fermentation and derived from milk and fruits. so I guess that;s ok with me.. Anyway, if I got sick from anything I ate, it was those non-vegan chocolate-covered almonds I ate because I was *so* starving and *so* craving chocolate. Just thinking about those things makes me wanna puke. Ugh. Oh, and before that, the 3 Advils I took for migraine. Okay, one could say I brought it on myself. I knew I'd get a gastritis sooner or later, I've had gastric acid reflux problems for a couple years already, but I didn't expect it to come before I turned 40, it came 20 years too soon heheh. I have a whole family history of that shit. BAD genes.. SO, Now I'm in a diet of cooked grains, steamed veggies and tea, following the advice of my naturopath.
