Guest guest
Hi, Just found this interesting article and thought you might be interested in reading it. In today's Slate.com, a couple of vegetarians living in the Lone Star State, ask Slate's advice columnist - Prudence - her advice on how to politely handle dinner parties where the hosts serve platters of red meat. " Our problem is that we are now in the South, where they serve meat like it's going out of style. We are both vegetarians. Though we certainly don't expect people to tailor their menus to our personal preferences, how do we politely decline meat dishes without offending the host and hostess? " the couple asks. http://fcast.net/cgi-bin/rc.cgi?slate.msn.com/Dear Prudence/00-03-16/DearPrudence.asp
