Guest guest Posted March 23, 2000 Report Share Posted March 23, 2000 Well, I would have to say that being in the fifth largest city in North America, we in Toronto are right up there with Vegan friendliness. I would imagine that there might only be one or two other cities in North America that top us ... New York and maybe, and this is a big MAYBE, San Francisco or Los Angeles. There are a lot of Animal Rights stuff going on here (okay, maybe not as much as there was 10 years ago, but ... that doesn't mean the veggies went away!) On top of all of that, we have the top two vegan chefs in the world here in Toronto! Chef Brennan and Chef Sharma! Go FIGURE! So, except for some Buddhist monastery @ the top of Kathmandu, Toronto Rocks! (sorry, that is in no way in reference to the cheesy 80's video show hosted by Jon Major on City TV!)
