Guest guest
I went to Starbucks and asked if they had soy milk and they said yes...then they told me they couldn't make the frappacino (the icy-shake-type drink) with it. Anyone know why? I got a hot chai with SM and it was MMMMMMMM!! Cyas, Mary Ann ===== " Lately it occurs to me...what a long strange trip it's been... " ~~The Grateful Dead...we miss you Jerry... Guest guest
Hi Guys ... Frappuccino ... from what everyone is saying, I guess it's good that I have never had a Frappuccino (I have been a vegan for too long to have indulged) .... so, I don't know what I am missing! Anyway, they look so syrupy and Geeeroosss! The lowdown is this ... Frappuccino is a Pre-mixed beverage base that we mix with Italian Roasted Double Strength coffee. Unfortunately, the Pre-Mix is formulated with all kinds of Milks, Milk Solids, etc., Besides the fact that they are Low Fat (A Grande Coffee Frappuccino has less than 3 grams) ... all the other stuff in it makes me feel gross ... it's like having pop! All the Corn Syrup and shit like that .... Guest guest
Just make sure that you don't get the Tazo Chai (made with the Mix ... as opposed to the tea bag) ... it has honey in it. Do Bees have to die for honey? I know, stupid question ... Guest guest
Hey Vik. Bees don't die in the making of honey. However like cows, the natural order of things is once again messed with by us humans. Humans alter there cycle to mass produce all the jars you see at the supermarket. That is why there is organic and non-organic honey. Honey is an animal product and as such most vegans consider it non-vegan. Peace and love etc. P.B. > " Vikas Sharma " <carnival > >< > >RE: Starbucks >Sat, 25 Mar 2000 07:18:04 -0500 > >Just make sure that you don't get the Tazo Chai (made with the Mix ... as >opposed to the tea bag) ... it has honey in it. > >Do Bees have to die for honey? > >I know, stupid question ... > >Vik > >Vikas Sharma >Director of Operations & Media >Carnival Management > >Web: http://www3.sympatico.ca/carnival >Email: carnival >Phone 416.9 > > > >Mary Ann [maryann23_1977] >Friday, March 24, 2000 9:36 AM > > Starbucks > > >Mary Ann <maryann23_1977 > >I went to Starbucks and asked if they had soy >milk and they said yes...then they told me they >couldn't make the frappacino (the icy-shake-type >drink) with it.
