Vegan Street Joins Prestigious Industry Trade Group

Vegan Street has taken a giant step forward in it's development today by joining

forces with industry leaders Perdue, Monsanto, RJ Reynolds, and the Pacific

Lumber Company to form the Corporate Alliance for Responsibility and Ethics,

(CARE) which aims to improve the planet by encouraging greater corporate

involvement in our daily lives. Monsanto CEO Robert Shapiro praised Vegan

Street's involvement, saying, " Having a great activist group like Vegan Street

on our team shows all those naysayers that we really do care about the

environment. " Vegan Street partner John Beske responded, " We've said some bad

things about these companies in the past, but they probably are the best hope

we've got. "
