Guest guest
Hi Patrick, Wow! What sweet things you say. You are too kind. I have several vegan cookbooks, but don't use any one exclusively. (Usually I end up making a variation of a recipe or after sifting through all of my cookbooks decide to just throw something together. I've been lucky so far!) Anyway - this is what I have: " The Vegan Gourmet - Expanded 2nd Edition " by Susann Geiskope-Hadler and Mindy Toomay (ISBN:0-7615-1626-3) **This is my favorite. " Easy Vegan Cooking " by Leah Leneman (ISBN: 0-7225-3696-8) ** My least favorite. " Eva Batt's Vegan Cooking " interestingly enough by Eva Batt (ISBN: 0-7225-1161-2) " Vegan Vittles " by Joanne Stepaniak (ISBN: 1-57067-025-0) **Another favorite. " 366 Simply Delicious Dairy-Free Recipes " by Robin Robertson (ISBN: 0-452-27623-3) **This one has a lot of recipes (366 of them, to be exact but I don't use it very often. " Instead of Chicken, Instead of Turkey: A Poultryless " Poultry " Potpourri " by Karen Davis (Oddly, there was no ISBN number for this book. I bought it through the PeTA catalog some time ago and Karen Davis is affiliated with the United Poultry Concerns, if that helps anyone looking for it. I have a few recipes that have become stand-by's from this book... I've made them so often I no longer need the book to guide me.) " Field of Greens " which I NEVER use. And lastly -- the " Vegetarian Times Cookbook(s) " which are not completely vegan, but can be adjusted when not. (ISBN: 0-02-010370-0) **This was my first cookbook That's that for the Vegan editions. I hope that helps you! And thank you for the kind compliments on the web page. I'm new page development and design, but it's a fun thing to do. Guest guest
I'm always looking for more vegan cookbooks. here's what i have: Lorna Sass's Complete Vegetarian Kitchen (this one has a lot of pressure cooker recipes, so i don't use it much) Vegan Delights by Jeanne Marie Martin Ecological Cooking by Joanne Stepaniak & Kathy Hecker The New Farm Vegetarian Cookbook i don't use cookbooks all that much when i'm cooking, because i love to experiment and make up my own recipes, but the books are great for ideas and especially for baking. Patrick, i used to bake bread, too! Growing up, my dad and i made bread nearly every week. I still bake it occasionally but usually make more than i can eat (again, i don't usually use recipes) with all the talk about chocolate cake, i thought i'd let you guys know that the chicago diner is giving away free dessert this week. (i don't know if anyone else is in chicago, but if you ever visit, it's a great restaurant to keep in mind.. all veggie/vegan, and a complete vegan bakery) have a great day laura also, i have a great chocolate cake recipe that is fairly low in fat (for cake) i baked it for a kid's birthday party and neither the kids nor the grownups could tell it was vegan. it's really tasty. i'll post it later... eat television for dinner you said backwards is we
