Cathy, that happened to me with M & M's!!!!

I used to LOVE M & M's... then I decided I could not longer eat them because of

the milk. Well, I craved those things like nothing else and it was SUCH will

power to pass by the bags in the candy aisle!!

 

Then, one day at work, someone brought in a bunch and I guess I was feeling a

little reckless that day and I had a few. UGH!!! I nearly gagged! I spit

them all out into the trash (no one was looking)!

They tasted just like MILK!

I'd never tasted it before,... but I certainly could then!!!

 

I no longer crave M & M's!!

 

So... the cravings DO eventually subside... especially once away from the

object of desire for some time!!

(Thank goodness, huh??)

I know what you mean - I was never very keen on calves' milk, though if it

was ice-cold I could swallow it down without tasting it. But warm - ugh,

yuk, bluh, ptui! (Those with delicate sensibilities might prefer not to

read the next bit). Warm milk smells like baby's puke! And how anyone

could want to drink THAT - ugh, yuk etc. They used to make us drink milk at

school, I don't know if they still do that, but how horrific - all that harm

to the cows, calves and us kids, and all by the very people who are supposed

to know best, the educators! It's a miracle we are all the wonderful,

enlightened people that we are on this list!

BTW, hasn't it grown? I think there were only about 18 of I when I joined

and now there's loads! Wonderful.
