My husband and I are Catholic and do not use artificial birth control. We use natural family planning, where I chart my cycles, record daily temps and other bodily changes everyday, and I can tell very accurately when I am more or less fertile. Then we abstain during the fertile phase if we are trying to space pregnancies. (Note--this is a very accurate and totally natural way to do it, even with irregular cycles. For more info contact the Couple to Couple League, they're in the phone book or they also have a web site). Anyway, I just went vegan a couple of months ago, and I am phasing out animal foods for the kids. Here's one problem. My daughter, 2, is on milk. She refuses to have anything to do with soy milk. I even tried 1 oz of soy milk to 7 oz cows milk and she wouldn't touch it. Jeez! BTW Anthony, have you ever seen the show " Kids in the Hall " ? It's a sketch comedy show from Canada. There is a guy on there who talks about having a " Good Attitude About Menstration " . He is hilarious! Seriously though, you are totally cool.
