I've started getting an organic veggie box and lots of it just doesn't get to the cooker. I'm trying sprouting - supposed to be very healthy and good tasting. I hope you enjoy it here. Its been a bit quiet lately so feel free to ask any specific questions you have that we can help you with. I've been a veggie for a year and vegan for the last 3 months. I found making the transitions fairly easy because i had done it before, back when i was 13, so i knew what to expect. I really love being vegan, except for the fact that i seem to have put on more weight! Only I could pull something like that!!! So i'm trying to lose weight now by eating healthily, although i'm not on any specific diet. I have read some of Rose elliot's book vegetarian slimming and am considering using that as a basis. She recommends calorie counting. But i'm still assessing the situation at present and just trying to eat healthily. Also i have some health problems (completely unrelated to my diet!) so i try to eat as varied and healthy diet as possible. I live in the UK with my boyfriend and am currently working as an Occupational Therapist but i am hoping to retrain as a teacher in September, which is what i really want to do!
