There have been NUMEROUS updates to BOTH of Max's tribute sites! We cannot allow Mr. Lacy to go unpunished. If you have not already, please sign your name to Max's petition. Below is a summary: ****** On September 29, 2000, a man trespassing behind a private home with two unleashed German Shepherd dogs let his dogs run down and attack a pet cat. This man beat the cat to death with a golf club and used a rock to violently beat the cat in the head as it was trying desperately to escape the man and his dogs. Two people have come forward as witnesses to this attack and the man was identified on September 30, 2000. A tuft of the dog's fur was found and tested by an independent lab and found to be that of a German Shepherd. ***** The next courtdate is scheduled for May 25th at 8:30 AM. There have been TWO CONTINUANCES in the criminal proceeding against James Lacy Sr. Requested by his attorney. The first time, he said he had " JURY DUTY " The second " it is rumored that he threw his 'Back out' " And felt he would be too heavily medicated to sit through a preliminary hearing.
