Guest guest
A non-violent individual sets a dog on fire? Yeah, right. Alyssa ATLANTA - Neighbors say Victor James Goodman had never hurt animals before. But when a stray dog wouldn't fight a bigger and stronger Chow, Goodman reached for a can of gasoline. The 17-year-old is accused of dousing the stray with gasoline and setting it on fire. The dog survived with burns over 25 percent of its body, mainly on its legs and belly. It was improving at the Atlanta Humane Society animal clinic Monday. The 2-year-old female mixed breed stood on its own Monday for the first time since it was burned Friday afternoon. It licked its caretakers' hands and ate some food. It's still too early to tell if the dog will survive, said veterinarian Dr. Charlie Jones. Goodman was arrested and charged with misdemeanor cruelty to an animal. On Monday, an Atlanta Municipal Court judge bound Goodman's case over to state court. The dog was burned in the back yard of a house in the southwest Atlanta neighborhood of Venetian Hills near Fort McPherson. http://www.azcentral.com/offbeat/articles/0514burneddog14-ON.html Auctions - buy the things you want at great prices http://auctions./
