Dear Mr. Zetcher,

 

I am upset to learn that Talbots is connected to the

continued suffering and death of whales, through your

majority shareholder, JUSCO (U.S.A.), Inc., a wholly

owned subsidiary of JUSCO Co., Ltd. As you may know

JUSCO Co., Ltd. also owns supermarkets in Japan that

sell whale and dolphin meat.

 

Please use your influence with JUSCO Co., Ltd. to stop

selling whale and dolphin products in their stores,

and ask other Talbots directors to do the same. It is

the market for these products that supports Japan's

pro-whaling policies, which must be stopped.
