Guest guest Posted May 28, 2001 Report Share Posted May 28, 2001 Hi This letter is to invite expressions of interest in contributing to a new interdisciplinary journal, Vita: Vegan Studies. We are keen to see material from any relevant field that is ethical-vegan in outlook, whether it be in the area of the sciences or the arts or both. One of the things we hope to encourage is the close reading of texts in literature, science, politics and popular culture, from a specifically vegan viewpoint. We are also interested in reports on medical, legal, technological, commercial and sociological studies related to vegan living. The journal will be refereed and will be scholarly in nature, with room for a certain amount of creative material. We envisage two issues per volume, with publication once or twice a year. Initially, contributors will be paid in copies only. The journal will be available in print form and eventually also on the internet. Articles should be between 2000 and 7000 words.
