Guest guest
In the June 11-18th issue of " US " magazine, the following was written: " Gwyneth Just Says No to Fur " Gwyneth Paltrow's new best friend has persuaded her to stop wearing fur. The 28 year old Oscar winner changed her fashion philosophy, a source tells Hot Stuff, when she was shown a documentary on fur farms by designer and animal-rights activist Stella McCartney, the 30 year old daughter of former Beatle Paul McCartney, who narrated the film for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Paltrow, however, is stil wearing leather and, unlike Drew Barrymore and Alicia Silverstone, will continue to wear clothes made by designers who use fur. Paltrow could not be reached for comment. Please write to US magazine and give kudos to Ms. Paltrow for making the compassionate decision to stop using fur. Let US magazine readers know that in the documentary, Ms. Paltrow saw first hand how animals are anally electrocuted, have their necks broken, and are clubbed to death for their coats. Animals on fur farms live in filthy, tiny cages and pace endlessly due to boredom of confinement.
