Guest guest
I would also like to say that I think Jennifer is doing a great job with her list. I moderate several lists for someone else and I have my own diet list. There is no way any list is going to have all perfect recipes for anyone. If we are lucky we several people on our lists and everyone has different tastes. It is hard to get people to post on lists also. If you start getting to picky nobody will post. I have list owners on my list where I post to there list and try to help them out that doesn't even return the favor. One list that I moderate is a vegetable list. Actually alot of vegetable are cooked with meat added. I don't post them to it but the owner of the list does. I have picked up from Jennifer that she wants this to be a vegetarian list of some sort. There is different levels of being a vegetarian. I sure will not post recipes with meat here. I don't believe you will find any vegan crockpot lists for a while yet. Although crockpots are making a big comeback and there is new and updated recipes for them they are not that plentiful. I think that if anyone had a vegan crockpot list that they would need to create most of the recipes. Not to start off with because there is recipes out there but not enough to keep a crockpot list running. There is tons of vegan recipes but most people will not bother to convert them to post. Sometimes it isn't that people won't post what they do but they don't have a recipe for it. I take a recipe and look at it and then add or delete whatever. I'm 43 and have been cooking a long time. I don't measure and don't even time anything unless I'm baking. Only liking recipes that people says that they have tried I have never agreed with. I see people wanting Tried and True recipes on alot of lists. What I like you might not and vise virsa. People has different tastes. In my own family we have different tastes. In my opinion a tried and true recipes is something that any one of us has tried and decided we like and keep in our own files to make again. Every recipe posted unless it is a hoax is tried and true at least by the creator of the recipe. Things doesn't turn out the same way for everyone, either.
