Hi all

I have recently rescued a wonderful cat, nemed Zazu.

A friend of a friend had to give him up because she moved back home

and her Mom was allergic. She was going to bring him to the pound, so

I took him instead.

He turned out to be a WONDERFUL cat...but I have run into two

problems that are intertwined. My cat is not taking to him very well.

At first we thought she'd adjust and there even seemed to affection

there, but her bullying has escalated. He is now so stressed by her

bullying and he has resorted to spraying. He is declawed and cannot

defend himself long enough to get to the kitty litter without her

harrassment. Its a vicious cycle right now where if I pet him, she

attacks.

He is a gentle male cat, 2 years old, very loving and affectionate,

mellow, looks like your typical Halloween black cat. A real handsome

boy. Fixed, declawed, all shots. He is playful but likes sitting

quietly too. Talks sometimes and likes to be held.

I am trying to solve this problem, but it looks as if my roomates are

a little fed up with the spraying. I think this situation is causing

him unnecessary anxiety, and he deserves a loving quiet home where he

is the only pet.

I do not want to give him up to the Humanes Society...does anyone

know of a loving home for a really sweet cat? I need to have some

kind of resolution by next week.

I am in Toronto, Ontario (Canada)- please contact me at

Thanks everyone!!!

:)
