One-man campaign to save fish from the dinner table

 

Saturday 12th January 2002

 

 

A Calcutta stockbroker is leading a one-man campaign to save fish from the

dining table.

 

Satyen Boral purchases large quantities of live fish from a local market every

Sunday and releases them in a river.

 

The 60-year-old strict vegetarian has been at his campaign for 22 years and is

known by the nickname Fishman.
