Cincinnat, OH - CompassionFest: a compassion movement event, specifically

designed for youth. Organized by youth across the country, and conceived a

fifteen year old from Cincinnati, Ohio, this annual event, promises to forever

change the means by which we all pursue peace for the amazing creatures with

whom we share this world.

For over 7 years Ryan Courtade has been leading many campaigns aimed at the

corporate abuse of animals by developing an accessible and far-reaching network

of like minds and hearts. Tapping all corners of the world, he has tried to

open promising avenues of education and hope.

And now, we feel that it is important to turn our attention to the most obvious

and open-minded audience for our shared message - the future.

CompassionFest, a festival which will teach compassion to the youth of America,

is planned to debut on August 11, 2002 in Cincinnati, OH as well as Las Vegas,

NV.

Co-Sponsored by Love All Animals, and In Defense of Animals, CompassionFest is

the first of it's kind to take place in either city. This will be a national,

youth-oriented event that will encourage young people to get more involved in

compassion. We envision an outdoor festival that will offer young people the

opportunity to learn about compassion in a festive environment. We hope to have

educational booths staffed by local animal organizations, vegan food, vendors

selling cruelty-free products, speakers, and entertainment.
