Guest guest
My 4 year old daughter has an anaphylactic allergy to cow's milk, and had an allergic reaction to Denman Island's so-called and so- labeled 'dairy free' chocolate. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency examined it in their lab and found cow's milk protein in the chocolate. There was a Canada-wide recall of all their products. The product must now be labeled, 'may contain milk ingredients'. My daughter could have died ( Recall information, for those who are interested, in the link below. http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/corpaffr/recarapp/2002/20020412e.s html Please share this information with your vegan friends, and also your friends with milk allergies.
