New York Newbie Intro

Hello, All. My name is Rose, I'm 54, I live in rural upstate New York with

husband, Fred, and our six cats. We live a very homestead-type lifestyle -

minus livestock, of course. I'm a professional tarot reader; Fred is a Reiki

Master Teacher.

 

Being a vegan has been a blessing for our health - physical, mental, and even

spiritual - in the sense that it allows one's mind to be clear to follow one's

chosen path.

 

I'm always on the lookout for good recipes. I tend to go toward the bland side

of things, so heavy spices usually get eliminated. We also go totally organic,

with the possible occasional exception of oil or an onion here and there. But

that's usually when we need to go to the co-op. If anyone's familiar with

upstate New York and the Ithaca area, we go to GreenStar Coop. Great place!
