Guest guest
Hi everyone! I hope you are all well! I just wanted to make a quick comment as a new member of the group. I would also like to add that I am not intending to trivialise anyone's belief's etc, and hope that no-one will take offence to what I will say. I've been getting the board to send me a digest of the messages each day or whenever it sends them, so that I can keep up to date etc with what other vegans are doing and all that, maybe help support each other in our vegan life-styles etc, etc. But, I have noticed that there is an awful lot of postings to do with the happenings in the Middle-East, that are certainly not vegan-related. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but isn't there specific places/groups/boards to chat about the events taking place in the Middle-East and elsewhere (seem to be religion-related)? I, for one, am asking those people who are posting non-vegan related religious/war etc. items to please post them elsewhere. If I wanted to find out more about that, and discuss opinions about that sort of thing, I would have joined a group relating to it. This is Planet-vegan is it not? I don't feel that this should be a place for people to post their feelings of hatred. After all, I became a vegan not only for the health benefits, but because I have compassion for other beings, as I am sure others in this group did too. Let's show more compassion, and keep the hatred out of this board, and where it belongs (if there is truly any place for hatred). Thanks for listening. Guest guest
Thanks Melody. I have to agree. I've been on this list for a couple years now and joined to learn about the plight of animals and the vegan lifestyle. Anything pertaining to religion and the middle east has no place here. I simply delete anything that has to do with those topics. It's annoying to say the least. Let's stick to vegan issues----animals, recipes, health and other topics which we joined this list for. BTW Does anybody have any favorite Kale recipes? I've never tried Kale and am really interested in doing so. Thanks, Alyssa Melody Miles <supanova_7 wrote: Hi everyone! I hope you are all well!
