As far as I'm concerned both Christianity and Islam are the foundation of the anthropocentric culture we see today around the world, where man is seen as somehow removed from the natural world as he can do as he pleases with both planet and animals. Vegans should be fighting all views that put dogmatic faith above rational ethical thinking. So please, let's find ways to teach compassion for the earth and all its inhabitants and not resort to mindless rhetoric over archaic religious propaganda.
