Guest guest
I have been lacto-vegetarian for about 2 months and I am now interested in becoming totally vegan. There is one problem however, I have an extremely severe allergy to legumes (i.e. peanuts, peas, beans, alfalfa, and soy derivatives-including soybean oil.) Yes, I have to carry the " epi-pen " around. I was wondering if there was a way for me to get my recommended ~80+ grams of protein per day and still be vegan? Could someone possibly give me some recommendations for alternatives to legume products that would supply the 9 essential amino acids required.
