Guest guest
I'm probably too new to the list to be jumping right in, but apparently that's not going to stop me I also love animals unconditionally and have very little patience with most people. What I've recently come to realize is that vegans have a higher awareness of animals than most people. The general population of humans is still asleep.. eating / dressing without conscious awareness that they are participating in the suffering of another being. They don't want to know. They don't want to think about it. When an animal behaves badly (a dog digs up a flower bed or a cat rips up some curtains) I am willing to overlook it because I assume they just don't know what they're doing. I assume people do know what they're doing. It's possible that I'm right about the animals, but I'm wrong about people. We're giving them too much credit. If they knew better, they would do better. Think about it. A human that is selfish and manipulative doesn't realize the harm they are doing to their own spirit. If they were fully aware (as a great many vegans are) then they would be unselfish. I consider myself spiritual and not religious, but no one said it better than Christ when he said Forgive them Father, for they know *not* what they do. People are also animals. They really do not understand all of the consequences of what they do. I am trying to remember that when dealing with them. Blessings to you all, Sherry - <xreminiscentx Thursday, June 29, 2000 11:07 AM Re: Re: BELIEFS BEING CHALLANGED *exhausting* > personally..i am one hundred percent behind you in that statement annie. just > wanted to let you know someone else saw the same way you do. > > robin > > ------ > Get a NextCard Visa, in 30 seconds! > 1.
