Guest guest
I just delighted in a Thai lunch of tofu and mixed veggies with peanut sauce. It was wonderful, but then I got to thinking that I don't know what exactly is in peanut sauce. I assumed it was made of peanuts, oil, and spices, but one should never assume anything. Did I inadvertently eat an animal product? -Annie ______________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com
Guest guest
Annie, I think it would probably be best to ask whoever made it about that. However, I can tell you that my recipe for that sauce uses coconut milk as the base, and I think that is the authentic ingredient. But the coconut milk can be substituted with any kind of milk. I have used soy and/or rice, never dairy, but a non-vegan milk use dairy. Deborah I just delighted in a Thai lunch of tofu and mixed veggies with peanut sauce.
