Farm Sanctuary said it has received letters pledging not to serve the veal from restaurants that include Tavern on the Green, Asia de Cuba, the Russian Tea Room, Babbo Ristorante, Le Grenouille, Park Avenue Cafe, The Four Seasons and Verbena. Gene Bauston, Farm Sanctuary director, said the group has approached about 50 New York City restaurants and is continuing efforts to get additional pledges.
