The house (we live on the second and third levels) is on a shady street near the Ossington and Bloor subway station and has hardwood floors, a gas stove, large living room and bathroom, and a great back deck. It is a 10 minute walk to the YMCA on College Street. We live strive to live as communally as possible, sharing food, cooking, cleaning, ideas and support. Must have progressive politics: pro-feminist, anti-racist, queer and trans-positive, pro-environment, and must be vegan or wiling to eat vegan as the house will be meat-dairy-egg free. Also, must share a commitment to animal rights. The rent is $325 plus utilities. The room is quite large and has an east facing window that overlooks the shady backyard.
