The 5 A Day Week 2000 theme, " Fruits and Vegetables: By Popular Demand "

encourages consumers to obtain fruits and vegetables at their workplace and

school cafeterias, vending machines, and catered events, as well as at home

or when eating out.

 

The materials contained in this 5 A Day Week 2000 Kit give consumers the

tools they need to request more fruits and vegetables; and provides health

professionals, educators, foodservice staff, and retailers with the tools

to increase availability of fruits and vegetables to consumers.

 

This kit contains five sections:
