Guest guest
The American VEGAN Society (AVS) would like to list " vegan contacts " = " VEGAN INFORMATION POINTS " -- throughout the world, but most notably in the USA and Canada. Here's what you need to do: You need to write a LETTER to the American Vegan Society at the following address: American Vegan Society PO Box 369 Malaga, NJ 08328 and given them the following information about yourself: Name - Full name - First, Middle Initial Last Name Organization - Do you officially represent a viable group? (not just some thought in your own mind or on paper, but a REAL, alive, active group? if not, don't say so) Address - Street address or PO Box City State Zip Telephone number: xxx-xxx-xxxx Fax (if you have it) Cell Phone contact, if you have it e-mail address Website URL (if you have a website) And something about yourself, your commitment to veganism and how you became veganism, what information you have and your knowledge of veganism so far, and how you could advise inquirers about vegan living and strategies, nutrition, social contacts, and other issues, and whether or not you would be willing to invite other vegan people together locally for some kinds of social and/or informational activities. Although cofounder Jay Dinshah passed away this year on June 8, 2000, Jay's wife and AVS cofounder Freya Dinshah is continuing the work and day-to-day administration and management of the American Vegan Society, as she has done for the past four decades, as she had done with Jay.
