Although cofounder Jay Dinshah passed away this year

on June 8, 2000, Jay's wife and AVS cofounder Freya Dinshah

is continuing the work and day-to-day administration and

management of the American Vegan Society, as she has

done for the past four decades, as she had done with Jay.
