Guest guest
RE: > but the realm of jesus is elsewhere. Jesus as vegetarian is a PETA campaign. I wouldn't have mentioned it except that others brought up the subject. My intent WAS and IS to " balance " the viewpoints expressed here AND to support PETA's campaigns as valid. It seems OK to be critical of PETA or to bash other vegan viewpoints here: namely those who see the relevance of the PETA campaigns. If you don't want to be informed about these issues, perhaps you need not read or consider anything other than your own viewpoints. But it serves no one to prohibit the views that support PETA or PETA campaigns. If you insist that PETA is not using satire and political incorrectness to make a point that's your viewpoint. The universe and planet vegan is a little more diverse than most accept. If you feel that PETA's Jesus campaign is meaningless to the world at large, you're likely very mistaken. http://www.peta.org/cmp/index.html http://www.jesusveg.com/ As for me, I find many of the messages here as narrow minded as those in the world at large. I would think that vegans would be a bit more open minded and not as biased and prejudiced as the vast majority of those who eat meat and dine at McDonalds. Little has changed in the last 30 years. Veganism is not expressed as a means to be of service to life but rather seemingly a means of separation and service to self. I refuse to assimilate into the vegan meat-like Borg. I'm here to remind you that the universe is diverse and that our goal is unity. Unity is acceptance of the diversity that is. Acceptance is not rejection. But if you want to bury your collective heads, please do not read my posts. ernie
