Guest guest
Overcoming Repression Against Activists Political dissidents have always been the target of government repression and corporate surveillance. It is important to take these attacks seriously and object to them. At the same time it is important not to allow fear-mongers to scare you away from political participation. Stories about vast conspiracies and elaborate surveillance technologies can create an atmosphere that discourages activism. This is what the opposition wants. Anyone who discourages your politicial participation should be considered suspect. On the following webpage you will find sensible and reliable information about safety and security for political activists. http://www.publiceye.org/liberty/Security_for_Activists.htm
Guest guest
> http://www.publiceye.org/liberty/Security_for_Activists.htm The only way to change the system, in my opinion, is to work actively within the system, within the law, as an activist for change. While it is important to be a vegan and to petition for animal rights, that's not enough to change the system. We must be as active as possible within those social movements for change which operate within the law and use all the resources under the law to make change. We must unite with others who are like minded and work to change them and make our cause and concerns known. How we apply our veganism is not a matter of right or wrong but rather how to create change quickly and effectively. Dying in prison as an obscure vegan martyr will do little to further our cause. It may be a path, though limited. Anything and everything we do that violates the law sets our cause back and slows any advances.
