Guest guest
(Forwarded to me from Freedom for Animals Toronto) bliss Fwd: Royal Agricultural Winter Fair demos Freedom for Animals is holding a chalkathon this coming Saturday November the 4th at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Come and write or draw your message(s) on the sidewalk about the " life " of animals on factory farms. We'll be there from 1 to 3 p.m. in front of the National Trade Centre, Exhibition Place. We'll also be leafletting fair goers and holding banners and pictures. The RAWF is the world's largest indoor agricultural fair - the main features being, beside the horse shows, the judging and auctioning of " livestock. " On Saturday, for example, at 10 a.m.: " Fryer Rabbit Carcasses...After completion of the live judging the entries will be trucked to an abattoir for butcher, then judged on carcass basis and dressed out percentage. " Over 10,000 animals are trucked in for the fair which will go on until November 11. Freedom for Animals is hoping to do large outdoor photographic projections of animals being raised for food on the Royal walls on Thursday November the 9th and Friday November the 10th from 8 to 10 p.m. I'll email you later with the whereabouts, as we still need to do a trial run. -- Free email services provided by http://www.goodkarmacafe.com Powered by Outblaze
