Vegetarian Times lauds local animal rights group

While much of what Steve Hindi videotapes may be an assault on the senses, his

campaign for animal rights always has been a non-violent one.

 

Indeed, the most violent act he has committed in his quest to bring to light

animal abuses was brought upon himself - when he zapped himself with a cattle

prod in front of the Kane County Board just to show how painful that can be.

 

And it is Hindi's policy of non-violent protest that has prompted Vegetarian

Times - one of the nation's leading advocates of vegetarianism and gentility to

animals - to laud the Geneva man's grassroots animal rights group as one the top

10 to watch in the country in its November issue.
