Guest guest
Does anyone have the full news that in Italy a Roman Catholic Theologian condemns the eating of hamburgers -- but his rationale is that they are Protestant. Methinks this is one more looney who didn't get filtered out of the seminary and ordination process, since his rationale is so, shall we say, " partisan " . The real issue is whether there are ANY Christians who should be doing such things. And, as I've long argued, the problems with ANY sectarian rationale for ethics, or for vegetarianism in particular, is that it fails to legitimate the general public's refusal to do the wrong things that the faith or the specialized ethic rebukes.
