Gentle Thanksgiving Needs Activists

FARM (with the kind cooperation of

PETA, Now and Zen, and Turtle Island Foods)

is expanding our annual Gentle Thanksgiving media campaign

this year by distributing mock turkeys and a copy of

PETA's " Meet Your Meat " video to

local television and radio hosts and anchors.

Here is the procedure (and time is very SHORT):

1) CONTACT your local TV and radio hosts and anchors to ask

whether they would be willing to accept a Gentle Thanksgiving

gift basket containing a mock turkey dinner, a documentary video

(and perhaps your own literature).

2) If you get an affirmative answer, send an e-mail to our

Communications Director Laurelee Blanchard at

Laurelee , or

call her toll-free : 888-543-6325,

with the following information:

your name,

phone(s),

street address,

and organization (if applicable),

as well as the names and affiliations of prospective recipients.

3) She will coordinate the arrangements with the manufacturers,

and PETA and will contact you with specific instructions.

4) The donated " turkeys " and video tapes will be shipped directly

to your address.

5) FARM will list and publicize the actions in our national

" media blitz. "

Thank you for caring,

AlexH.
