Guest guest
Oh. I was wondering what his objection was. Based on this objection then, it sounds to me like Salari would equally renounce a vegan falafal sandwich, or even (horrors!) a couple of apples! It seems he just wants to make us eat each and every meal sitting down deal with a big pot of whatever in the middle of the table for everyone to dip into! So, probably a veggie burger would be just as faulty in his eyes. I suppose one would have to cut it all up into pieces, put it on a platter and pass it around to avoid having to do penance! I think making eating a sacred event is kind of a cool idea really. At the same time, I really also think that one can eat in a State of Grace even when alone or on the run. :-) Deborah MacDonald's: Food of Beelzebub ? by Billy Silly 10:46am Sat Nov 11 '00 Hamburger and fries denounced as anti-Catholic by Italian bishops Faust-food excommunicated [from the London Independent newspaper] " A leading Italian theologian has denounced fast food as anti-Catholic and a threat to fundamental Christian values.
