S. FL Pup On Death Row in WPB/AC & C

There is a G/S pup named 'Cutie', in a kennel

on death row, right now, at AC & C in West Palm

Beach, FL 561.233.1200 (I will be asking you

to call them if they put her to sleep. BUT

NOT YET!! Timing is everything. I will ask

you to voice your protest over their

reluctance to give me Cutie, even though I

said I was willing to care for her in lieu of

them killing her.)

From what I understand, if the vet deems it

appropo, she will be arbitrarily killed,

unless (I am only guessing) I can somehow

convince them to relinquish her. AC & C told me

that since the 'owner' left the puppy in

their drop box injured overnight, they now

have the authority to decide whether she

lives or dies; even though I offered to take

her and pay for her medical expenses and

basic upkeep. I was told by a worker in the

clinic that they try to dissuade people from

adopting certain animals. I guess if they

deem an animal unadoptable, they can kill

them. I don't think this is right. We don't

work off the same flimsy excuses to kill

other sentient beings, like people.

Cutie needs a LOVING home, a LOVING temporary

foster home, etc. immediately. Can you help?

I am frightened for Cutie because her life is

in the balance now. She is on borrowed time

unless I can convince the vet at AC & C

otherwise. I already paid for all her booster

shots. She is only 4-5 months old. I already

have five RESCUE animals. Can anybody help?

I have painfully documented her situation for

a few months now, and after close observation

I witnessed the negligible abuse she was

subjected to, day after day. Her story is

quite sad in the sense she has never really

known the outside of a crate while with this

previous 'owner'. Her abuse was isolation.

She was brought out only when the 8 year old

daughter wanted to play with her. Sounds like

what they used to do to people back in Roman

times. I think there should be a law

outlawing this kind of continual crating

abuse. Don't you? We can pass a law if enough

people voice their protest against this gross

negligence.

I race against borrowed time for her, in

hopes of giving this pup a chance to

experience what her life was suppose to be

about; not the way it turned out. She is

still just a child waiting to be held and

loved.

Help me find Cutie a reprieve from all her

punishment, thus far inflicted on her, simply

because she is so vulnerable. When the woman

at AC & C told me she may be killed, she added

" It's such a shame, she seems like such a

happy puppy " . Help me give Cutie the

happiness and love she deserves. If you know

of anyone in the south Florida area who can

spare some space for Cutie, so she can feel

romping liberation for once; and experience

the sunshine and rain directly overhead, call

me or email me at tapster (I

will check frequently). I supply the medical;

you supply the safe harbor from her recurring

storms until she is healthy and whole.
