Guest guest
Eden is a vision that is focused on Eden Valley, a valley that almost no one has even seen. It is just that good. Very much like a woman that everyone says no one can get. And no one will even dare to approach her. Well we will dare to approach her and we are approaching her in a way which is very respectful. But yes, as many have said, it could be seen as being a bit bold of us to act from vision alone, but here we can do no wrong to at least take the risk of being clear among ourselves what that is. We don't own the land. And it is not for sale. And that has to be accepted by everyone involved. But we all do have to learn to become an active part in the process of making this whole thing work. We do have to learn to accept the work that has been done and to keep building on that. But we are not the kind of people who can afford to focus only on our own personal needs first, and with nothing left for the community. I know by speaking of these things among our growing circle of friends that there are many here who recognize and respond to this vision very quickly. It connects up with something that is very real in each of us. We know it is real. Others are slow to learn anything new. We have to have a lot more respect for what it is we are doing here than to judge things by traditional standards. And here we will welcome all that is good and right. But we are not asking only for peoples money. That, we expect to be given of its own accord. All we do have to do is to get out of the way of that happening, and it will flow like it should. And I am very clear about that. But I do understand the need for a certain amount of clarity. And many things we will have in some abundance. But it will never be enough for those who never have enough. It will never be right for people who are never going to be allright. A lot of people do have land. And they will try to start a community. But land alone does not make a home. Not where there is no love and their is no vision. And that's what the difference is. And many people will sell their homes and their lands to be able to move in to Eden. But ordinary development just won't work here. And there is a good ecological reason for that. It is not Sustainable. What we are doing here is something very different. This is not just another Co-Housing development. We are members of the FIC. But this is a new vision. And it is not a money thing. Money alone just won't work here. But I do know that many of you will get back everything you have put into this and then some. Yes, and some people will have problems with that and this will be expressed in many ways. And a few people have shown that they don't yet have a very good grasp of what we are talking about here, and one may learn a lot about ones self throughout this process. But we are only interested in serious solution creators, not problem finders. But I will try to respond as well as I can and even to those who come with nothing but problems. I know quite well where most of that comes from, and why there has been no place for any real vision in this world. Wrong Education! But that's not where this project is coming from. And so it cannot be judged by the usual assumptions. And I know that money may be king where a lot of folks are coming from, but that is not where this is going, and that is far beyond the sidewalks, and all the way to Eden. But we are moving away from things like money and property. That which can not be bought cannot be sold. That's what Eden is. That's what this is all about. Most of the material has been published in the form of The Eden Journal. And that is one good place to start. To get that, you can just go to our website at www.edenproject.homestead.com And then come to one of the Lodge Meetings, as mentioned on page 20. We meet out in front of the Bistro at the Jack London Lodge in Glen Ellen at 11am on the last saturday of every odd numbered month. That's about 45 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There we can talk at greater length and in more detail. And you can join our egoup just by sending a blank email to EdenProj- - T McClure Calendar - Get organized for the holidays!
