Guest guest Posted November 21, 2000 Report Share Posted November 21, 2000 Alberta: Cow kicks its way to freedom National Post EDMONTON - A cow destined for the stockyards kicked its way out of its trailer and led police on a two-hour chase through the city's west end on Sunday. " He was out in the middle of 87 Avenue, " said Constable Elton Nichol. " The look on people's faces was priceless. " Police managed to hit the cow with two darts from a gun and followed it until the drugs took effect. The drugged animal finally ended its flight and was loaded on to another trailer to be returned to its owner. ----- Isn't it obvious from this story that this cow knew what was going on? I wish it could be rescued.
