Here's the response I got regarding my previous posting about the " Vegan "

pumpkin pie recipe.

Thank you for taking the time to write. Our readers opinions are very important

to us. Even when you don't like something we've done, we’re always happy to hear

from you, and want you to know we really do listen to

what our readers have to say.

 

As we explain in our " About Our Recipes " section, below the index and glossary,

only the first ingredient listed is considered the original recipe, therefore

subsititutions and optional ingredients do not count. As

for the sugar or honey, that is a personal choice. Many vegans consume honey

and/or sugar.
