Guest guest
From the website of the Virginian-Pilot: http://www.pilotonline.com/special/dolphins Here's a link for AOLers and some others: Dolphin Vote " As Virginia Beach leaders head toward a decision next spring about whether to build a $52 million addition to the Virginia Marine Science Museum, a sharp controversy has erupted over a key part of the facility, an aquarium for dolphins and other marine animals. " There is a question and answer area which I feel is strongly slanted in favor of captivity. But there are prominently displayed links to " Dolphin Liberty " and PETA's " Dolphin Freedom Coalition " which tell the other side of the story. The purpose of this alert, however is to draw your attention to the poll, probably only running on Wednesday, December 6, which asks: " Should the Virginia Marine Science Museum display captive dolphins? " Please take a few seconds to go to the site and vote no. I share with you the alert that came to me: " Please vote against the construction of this sad, expensive, cruel dolphin tank! And please forward this to every animal list in the world immediately. It's only today. TY "
