This holiday has truly been fantastic.

I just want to share with you all what a wonderful holiday its been.

Thanks to support from fellow veg*ns, and anji and paul (etc!) we had a great

vegan dinner friday together. It was so cool- besides the wonderful spread of

squash/pear soup, tofurkey, gravy, wild rice, fresh cranberry sauce, wine,

sparkling grape/peach juice, AND freshly baked pumpkin pie WITH tofutti...we all

sat around the computer listening to a broadcast (that anji posted earlier)

about animal rights and then we x-changed gifts.

A real old fashioned traditional xmas with a twist!

Anyhew I was lucky because there was an extra tofurkey left and last night at my

parents I could eat a real meal.

Last year I had rice and veggies with nothing else. This year I got to eat the

same as everyone else eccept crulety free. I felt so happy!

Anyways I just wanted to share that with all of you. I guess Im feeling grateful

that its easier and easier to be a vegan.

Hope you all had/have a wonderful & funky holidays too!

It's easier to be green,

Bliss.

How wonderful, Bliss. I'm glad to see someone else

also had a wonderful cruelty-free Holiday.

Our family enjoyed our second tofurky meal on

Christmas day. We actually took it to the in-laws and

while they had goose we enjoyed our tofurky and giblet

gravy. Christmas Eve we were lucky enough to enjoy a

completely organic vegan meal prepared for us by Whole

foods. I'm happy to say our family is finally getting

the respect we deserve. We had no rude comments and

ALL gift givers made sure our gifts were cruelty-free.

Its nice to think we may have had a little influence

on others to think about other species this holiday

season. My husband got a pair of shoes and was

THRILLED they were non-leather. He thanked the gift

giver even more when he knew the effort was made to

purchase him a cruelty free product.

Blessings to each and everyone of you for making the

world a better place. You help me keep my faith.

It sounds great! I am so glad to hear! We had a nice Christmas

festivity too. I do a stuffed tofu, recipe from Friendly Foods

by Brother Ron Picarski as the center dish. And we had black

berry pie (I picked the black berries last summer!) for dessert!

Yummy!
