Health experts are urging all countries to ensure that the cattle and the carcasses they import are free of infectious material. The WHO says meat and animal feed infected with mad cow disease may have been sold across the globe, raising the possibility of outbreaks in other countries. " We have to sensitize countries to the fact that they are at risk, " said Maura Ricketts, a physician and WHO specialist. Ricketts says it is almost impossible to trace where suspect meat or feed might have been sent since mad cow disease was first identified in the U.K. in 1986. -- Free email services provided by http://www.goodkarmacafe.com Powered by Outblaze
