Guest guest
Um, when I said " what about the way they treat their dogs? " , I meant what about the OTHER dogs, the ones that are not part of the " selected " group. Hi all; This is the reply I received from Iams about the Iditarod. I noticed they talked about working with " selected mushers " . My question now is, and I am sending them an email asking this, how do they select mushers, and what about the way they treat their dogs? >Deborah Pageau >Gibsons, BC Canada > >Dear Deborah: > >Thank you for sharing your concerns. Guest guest
Hi all; I was just re-reading the reply that Iams sent me about the Iditarod, and this line popped out to me. >...and how to use antioxidants to prevent >muscle stiffness in exercising dogs. Further to the point of the relationship of antioxidants to preventing muscle stiffness.... When I ate the SAD, I used to suffer very badly from muscle stiffness after exertion, even though back then, I was younger and generally more consistently active. Now, even when undertaking significant exertion directly from a prolonged period of couch-potatohood, I have rarely had any soreness at all. And, as we all realize, a healthy, low-fat vegan diet (largely fruits and vegetables) is chockablock full of antioxidants. I'd noticed that in these past many years, I was able to undertake a new activity without worrying about having to live with pain the following day. I figured it was probably because of my diet, but I didn't realize that this was possibly THE specific reason. So, I'm glad to know that! :-) Deborah
Guest guest
I feel that alot of replies we get from various companies regarding any animal issue, are just a load of rubbish they say just to get us off our backs. I know there are some out there that really do care, but not all of them. Why would Iams care anyway. Iams belongs to Proctor & Gamble, who really doesn't give a hoot about animals. They are well known for animal testing. I will never buy Iams again or any other product that comes from Proctor & Gamble. Guest guest
I'm not sure I would believe anything this company says. Remember that their " mission to enhance the well-being of all dogs " includes the fact that their parent company, Procter and Gamble, tortures and murders dogs and other animals in their product testing labs. --jack
