Guest guest
(Re: Iowa dove hunting bill passed in legislature) This is really disappointing news. It's pretty clear that we are just not responding in sufficient numbers to make a difference. Please folks, there is still a chance to save the doves, if all of us write. The work required now is greatly reduced 'coz we are writing only to the senators, not the reps. It doesn't take longer than 10 minutes and is well worth the several hundred thousand lives that can be saved! Here's a link to a revised alert (with just the senators addresses and a sample letter): http://www.geocities.com/srikanthk.rm/iowa_doves2.html Barbara Biel wrote: > > Dear Activists, > > How do hunters, a mere 5% of the U.S. population > manage to do this? Guest guest
This is a response I got Robert Dvorsky after sending the appropriate letters: Thank you for your opinion on the " Dove Bill " passed by the Iowa House last week. Should this bill come before the Senate I will be voting against it as I have in the past. Two " undecided " Senators you may wish to contact if you haven't already, are Senator Patrick Deluhery and Senator Thomas Fiegen. The vote in the Senate will be very close! Thanks for your concern. I thought it was interesting and good information to have. Alyssa --- Srikanth K <srikanthk wrote: > (Re: Iowa dove hunting bill passed in legislature) > > This is really disappointing news.
