Guest guest Posted January 25, 2001 Report Share Posted January 25, 2001 Hi Everybody!!! I was wondering if any fellow Planet-Veganers might be going to Burning Man in Nevada this summer? (see http://www.burningman.com) I went last year, and was the only vegan in my group and I didn't meet any others. In the desert its a pretty obvious choice to be eating a vegan diet since dairy and meat quickly go bad, and people were amazed when they came back to camp to my vegan-fake-beef-stews and soy dishes...but I think it would be fun to be around other creative cooks this year! To bring Vegan awareness to an already alternative group would be fun and easy as BM is such an open minded forum. It might be premature to expect a Vegan theme camp to come out of this, but perhaps if anyone else is going, we could all hook up! I'd love to hear from any of you who are interested in bringing Planet Vegan to Burning Man... Please contact me directly!
